What you Need to Know about CD Duplication and Copying?
CD duplication and copying is data laser burnt into CD-R (recordable) discs. This is perfect for smaller print runs of up to 500 discs. The benefits of cd duplication is fast turnaround of your orders and cost effective if you require short run production. Coupled with CD packaging options, you will receive your CD disc order within 5 days or sooner if very urgent. If you need larger orders of 1000+, then we can offer a more affordable option of CD replication.
With CD replication we make a special master copy called a 'glass master'. This is used to stamp the data on to the discs as they are being made. The master acts as a negative of the original CD which goes through a mastering stamper machine replicating the data onto CD-ROMs. These sorts of discs are also called CD-ROM discs. The difference between CD-ROMs and CD-R discs is that CD-ROMs feature read-only memory, whereas CD-Rs are recordable.
