Storage Information

• CDs can hold up to 700 megabytes.
• Single Layer DVDs can hold up to 4.7 gigabytes of data - or up to 120 minutes of standard definition, highly compressed, VOB format video.
• Double Layer DVDs can hold up to 8.5 gigabytes of data - or up to 240 minutes of standard definition, highly compressed, VOB format video.
• BluRay optical disc blanks can hold up to 25 gigabytes - and more if the larger capacity discs are used. They cannot be used in a regular DVD player and must be used with a BluRay optical drive.
